27 FOR 2027
About this campaign
Your team at Salem Reporter has ambitious plans for the next year.
We need your help to get there.
We’re conducting a year-end fundraising drive – “27 for 2027.” I’m asking supporters by Jan. 1 to make tax-deductible contributions to the Salem Reporter News Fund.
Our goal: $27,000 by Jan. 1.
Your donation will give Salem Reporter muscle to:
*Continue our education team
*Deepen reporting on homelessness
*Improve and expand how we share our news
*Ensure we are here, strong, day after day.
In the year ahead, we want to add two more journalists to our staff. That will allow Salem Reporter to provide even deeper reporting on topics of keen local interest. And that will allow us to expand our engagement with readers with local gatherings with our staff, more video broadcasts and partnerships with other local media organizations.
This comes as so many of you have previously donated to the News Fund. We are thankful for that support and what it has allowed us to provide Salem and Keizer. With your tax-deductible contribution, we can do even more for readers – and for the community.
