Afrolistic & SoundWellness

The Afrolistic & SoundWellness projects aim to educate marginalized community members here in the Bay Area about the holistic benefits, connect them to the tools, instruments, and resources to develop their own holistic sound practices, and training and certification opportunities to folx who would like to deepen and share their practice, offer career pathways and employment opportunities in holistic sound and music to individuals who not typcially afforded career opportunities in the wellness industry.

Afrolistic & SoundWellness Retreats provides Black artists and healers with culturally grounded, land‑based wellness experiences that support their creative, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. Sponsorships directly fund retreat access, healing services, and skill‑building workshops for Black practitioners who often lack equitable support within the wellness and arts sectors. Our intimate off‑grid retreats offer restorative space, professional development, and community care rooted in AfroIndigenous traditions. By sponsoring Afrolistic Retreats, funders help sustain a regenerative ecosystem where Black healers and artists can rest, create, and lead transformative work in their communities.
