About this campaign
In partnership with the West Virginia Scenic Trails Association (WVSTA), West Virginia Explorer, and national and state partners, we are undertaking a first-of-its-kind, coalition-led journey, walking from northern to southern West Virginia along the Allegheny Trail to talk with business leaders, community members, politicians and others about how outdoor recreation contributes to economic resilience and rural revitalization across West Virginia.

- Build an economic impact report and visitor readiness dashboard with Generation West Virginia and the WVU Regional Research Institute
- Tell stories of underserved rural communities reinventing themselves
- Film a short documentary sharing the story of WV's economic history and opportunities
- Share the economic data and stories with policymakers to drive state investment decisions.
