Am I The Only One Production Funding

We are currently in production on Am I the Only One?, a documentary short about Joy Oladokun, the queer Black singer-songwriter hailed by Rolling Stone as “Nashville's Most Low-Key Musical Revolutionary”.

It’s a film about what happens when an artist decides to stop justifying her existence. Joy's faith journey led her away from the church; on the other side of the stained glass, Joy held that same boundary in the music industry and built a community — a congregation of her own, that night after night, find each other through her music.

We have already shot interviews with Joy at her home in Nashville and at her most recent Grand Ole Opry appearance. Production continues with October and November shoots in LA, San Francisco and Nashvile. We will go into post in November 2026.
