About this campaign
Through our Youth Arts Connection workshops, ARTSCCC (Arts Contra Costa County) provides essential spoken word, poetry, and artistic workshops four times a week for teens (ages 12-18) at the Antioch, Brentwood, and Pittsburg libraries. Led by professional artists and community advocates, these workshops offer a stable, safe, and creative space where youth gain vital skills, community, and mentorship for personal and professional growth.
ARTSCCC is focused on addressing a critical need: nourishment. With rising food costs and our workshops scheduled during the dinner hour, we urgently need your help to cover these food expenses and ensure that hunger does not prevent youth from accessing stability and mentorship. Specifically, $150 covers the entire cost of food for one workshop (15-30 students), $300 provides food for two workshops, and $600 sustains meals for the entire weekly schedule (four workshops). A donation of $1,000 covers the cost of both food and materials for one week.
