Find Love Safely was born from a deeply personal moment. One evening, Katherine's 21-year-old son, who has Down syndrome, asked if he could download Tinder. Her first reaction was panic—followed by heartbreak. Previously, he had been the victim of online scamming so dating apps were out of the question. And when she searched for alternative ways to safely help him find the connection he longed for, she discovered there were none.
At Find Love Safely, our mission is to end the loneliness crisis among adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) by offering safe, supported ways to build friendship and love. Your donation helps us create trusted opportunities for real, in-person connection.
