About this campaign
We are building a new theater on Parrish Street in downtown Durham, and need your help to do it.
Before the curtain, before the first screening, before any of it, there's the unglamorous work of building something from scratch.
Your tax-deductible donation helps us lay that foundation: sourcing the projector that will light up our screen, developing the branding and website that will tell Durham who we are, and hosting screenings to bring us all together. These aren't the 'pretty' parts of opening a cinema. But they're the parts that make everything else possible.
We've come a long way on our own: We've found our space, started construction, and started planning our first screenings. But we've gone as far as we can without you. This is the part where Durham shows up, and we get to build something together that this city has never quite seen before.
