Issue Two
About this campaign
Hi, it's Lydia. Would you like a second issue of The New Modality magazine to exist? I do, too! (I reserve the right to change the title, though.)
If you donate here, you are donating specifically to make Issue Two happen. Issue Two theme: Consciousness, Religion, and Science. (Not everything in a given issue is about the theme.)
Donations made through this page are tax-deductible. If you donate over $1k, then I will contact you and ask if you want your name (or your organization's name) on the back page of the magazine.
I've already developed some material for Issue Two. Here are two articles I've worked on so far:
• An article by a vajrayana spiritual leader about the metascience movement
• "The Inside Story of Leverage Research 1.0" (this will be out soon on Substack!)
If I hit ~$100k or more, I will do a full-color print magazine like Issue One, with original art, and I will also fact-check things and even pay everyone who wants to be paid, which is my dream. If I hit ~$150k or more, I will have more bells and whistles, plus at least one big event, and I'll get a head start on Issue Three :) (If I get less than $100k, I'll use the money to publish fact-checked articles online.)
