As we approach a new year, something new is beginning in Cincinnati.
Join us for the first official Kabbalat Shabbat of Selah, a new Jewish community reimagining what a synagogue can be in Cincinnati.
We're building a community where soulful prayer, joyful music, and ancient Jewish wisdom come together to help us live more connected, purposeful lives. A community where people of every background can show up exactly as they are and discover what becomes possible when we create sacred space together.
This inaugural Kabbalat Shabbat will be filled with spirited singing, instruments, inspiring prayer, and the energy of people coming together to build something from the ground up. Whether you've been searching for a Jewish home or simply want to experience something new, we'd love for you to be part of this moment.
After services, we'll continue the celebration with a buffet Shabbat dinner and wine, catered by Cafe Alma.
If you would like to stay for dinner, you can pay with the link below. Walk-ins for dinner will unfortunately not be accepted.
All ages are welcome, while inviting everyone to participate fully in the music, prayer, and community experience.
This is more than our first Friday night service. It's the beginning of Selah, a new shul in Cincinnati built on the belief that Judaism can be spiritually alive, deeply rooted, radically welcoming, and transformative for ourselves and our world.
Come help shape what comes next.
