LARC Spring Fundraiser

Support the Next Generation of Local Journalists in Los Angeles

LARC works to support and uplift the next generation of journalists in Los Angeles, helping them navigate an industry that is increasingly difficult to break into and sustain a career in.

Over the past year, LARC has built a growing community of freelance journalists and media makers through mentorship and public events. We’ve also launched the StoryLab Development Grant, which provides funding and editorial support to help freelancers develop and place new stories.

Much of this work happens outside traditional newsroom structures, supporting journalists who are doing important reporting, often without consistent institutional backing.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 through this campaign.

As a small and growing organization, individual contributions are essential to sustaining and expanding this work.
