2026 Reading Softball Championship – 5 Weeks of Community, Culture, and Competition
The 2026 Reading Softball Championship is more than a tournament — it’s a 5-week community-driven program designed to bring people together, celebrate culture, and create opportunities through sports in Reading, PA.
This initiative places a strong emphasis on uplifting and engaging the Latino community, creating a space where families, athletes, and local organizations can connect, compete, and take pride in a shared experience. Through softball, we’re building more than games — we’re building unity, representation, and opportunity.
Over the course of five weeks, teams from across the region will participate in organized competition in a safe, positive, and high-energy environment. Each week brings the community together, creating consistent engagement and a growing sense of momentum leading into the championship.
Your support will directly fund:
Youth & Community Development: Expanding access to organized sports and creating opportunities for Latino youth and families to participate and feel represented.
Event Operations (5 Weeks): Field rentals, umpire fees, equipment, permits, and logistics required to sustain a multi-week program.
Community Experience: Awards, music, food, and activities that reflect and celebrate Latino culture while creating a welcoming environment for all.
Accessibility & Inclusion: Helping reduce financial barriers so more teams can participate regardless of background.
Long-Term Impact: Establishing this as an annual tradition that continues to empower and unite the Reading community.
