About this campaign
Adapt Expedition (adaptexpedition.org) is launching a transformational, donor-supported program to guide fly fishing and overland journeys for clients, caregivers, and families with adaptive needs and financial barriers. We are building a thriving, inclusive community in the Columbia River Gorge and the greater Pacific Northwest that combines guided adventures, comprehensive training, and meaningful connection among clients, guides, guide services, volunteers, and partner organizations.
Our Mission
To empower participants through accessible outdoor experiences, expert-led training, and a supportive network that fosters independence, confidence, and belonging in the great outdoors.
Why This Campaign Matters
Many community members in the Columbia River Gorge and the broader Pacific Northwest face adaptive challenges and financial barriers that limit access to nature, recreation, and the associated health and well-being benefits.
By removing barriers and investing in training, adaptive gear, transportation, and safe guiding practices, we create lasting positive impact for individuals, families, and the broader outdoor-education ecosystem.
