Mekor RVA Learning Group Registration

I am starting a Hadar Community Group, part of an exciting new project to build grassroots Jewish communities. With curriculum from my new nonprofit, the Mishpacha Rising Collective, and I’d love for you to join! This group is called Mekor RVA, which is the local adaptation of a year-long national initiative I'm working on to support Jewish individuals with intersectional identities like myself, providing a safe space for group activities rooted in prayer, expression, and art (focusing deeply on proudly affirming queer, neurodivergent, and disabled Jewish individuals, and Jews of color). For eight months, we will meet monthly to do an activity, from journaling prompts rooted in that week's Torah portion to the creation and sharing of our own prayers, poems, or nigunim. We will have creative writing workshops, freestyle rap competitions, and so many more outlets to express, build, and celebrate together while combating isolation.
