Move With Purpose Day

Every student deserves a day to have fun and move. Move With Purpose Day brings team sports and mental wellness to high schools.

Full campaign description

Students today are sitting and staring at screens too much! Move With Purpose Day gets them off the couch and into the game.

Why it matters

Adolescents are struggling. According to the CDC's National School-Based Health Policy Survey in 2023, 39.7% of high school students experienced persistent feelings of sadness and hopelessness. Team sports, time outdoors, and genuine connection with peers are some of the best remedies. There's never been a better time to give students an alternative to staring at screens.

What happens on Move With Purpose Day

A half-day event dedicated to having fun and getting moving! Phones go away and students move through three games:

Movespot Combine: Football tosses, free throws, and soccer shots on goal that are live on a big screen leaderboard.

Soft-ball kickball: Classic kickball made co-ed and for all skill levels.

Nature walk: A leisurely walk to enjoy the outdoors and disconnect from technology.

The day wraps up with a championship game, trophies, and awards for spirit! Warm ups, soft equipment, water stations, shade, and first aid are all included.

Led by an athlete, built on experience

Movespot founder Carl White III is an All-Region Football Player who scored 15 touchdowns as a senior. Move With Purpose Day is the culmination of our Climate Awareness Field Days that have served 85 students at two DeKalb County High Schools with zero injuries in 2026. Both principals asked us to come back next year! "The kids had a great time and I hope you all come back," said one. The demand speaks for itself.
