Altera Circular Systems is hosting a community clothing drive built around a simple idea:

Something does not stop being useful just because one person no longer needs it.

Our goal is to raise $1,000 to help cover event supplies, outreach, transportation, volunteer support, sorting materials, and other practical costs needed to make the drive organized and useful.

Why This Matters to Me

Altera Circular Systems grew from a question I kept returning to:

What can we do with what we already have?

That question became part of a larger mission around circular systems, practical education, new product development, and community resilience.

This clothing drive is one local way to put that mission into action.

Sometimes circularity begins with something as simple as opening a closet and recognizing that an item still has value.

What We Are Doing

On Saturday, November 14th we are:

partnering with Northbrook United Methodist Church to host the drive;

• building local partnerships;
• recruiting volunteers;
• creating the collection and sorting process;
• promoting the drive throughout the community;
• and planning how collected clothing will move into its next useful stage.
