About this campaign

Help Make Two-Day CPET Accessible to Patients Who Need It

PaceForward Foundation provides gold-standard, evidence-based two-day cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) for people living with ME/CFS, Long COVID, and other complex fatiguing illnesses.

For many patients, this testing provides objective evidence of exercise intolerance, impaired recovery, and post-exertional symptom exacerbation (PESE/PEM)—information that can be critical for clinical care, disability determinations, and understanding the physiologic limitations of their illness.

But the patients who may benefit most from this testing are often facing significant financial hardship. Many are unable to work or have lost income because of their illness, while simultaneously facing substantial medical expenses. For some, the cost of testing creates an additional barrier to obtaining the objective information they need.

Your donation can help change that.

PaceForward Foundation is establishing a Patient Access Scholarship Fund to provide financial assistance toward two-day CPET for patients who demonstrate financial need.

Donations to this campaign will help qualified patients access two-day CPET when financial circumstances would otherwise prevent them from doing so.

Every contribution helps. A small donation can contribute toward a patient's testing costs, while larger gifts can help provide full or partial scholarships to multiple patients.

Our goal is to build a sustainable fund that allows PaceForward to say yes more often when a patient needs objective testing but simply cannot afford it.

By supporting this campaign, you are helping make objective physiologic assessment more accessible to people living with illnesses that are often misunderstood, underdiagnosed, and difficult to document through conventional medical evaluation.

Help us remove financial barriers and make objective testing available to the patients who need it most.

By donating, you agree to the Fiscal Sponsorship Allies Donor Terms & Conditions.
