Help us celebrate 15 years of comics, creativity, and community!

Pocket Con is Chicago’s free comic book convention celebrating characters and creators of color and other underrepresented voices in comics and pop culture. For 15 years, Pocket Con has connected young people, families, artists, and comic book enthusiasts through a shared love of storytelling, art, gaming, and imagination.

On Saturday, December 19, 2026, we’re returning to the Chicago History Museum to celebrate this milestone with another day of creativity, discovery, and community.

We're inviting individuals, businesses, organizations, and community supporters to become sponsors of Pocket Con 2026. Your financial contribution helps us keep the convention FREE for everyone while supporting the artists, activities, youth programming, and resources that make this event possible.

Your sponsorship helps us:

Keep Pocket Con free and accessible to youth, families, and artists.

Support independent artists, illustrators, and creators.

Provide creative activities, workshops, and experiences for young people.

Supply giveaways, prizes, and resources for our attendees.

Celebrate representation and expand opportunities for underrepresented voices in comics and pop culture.

Every contribution makes a difference. Whether you're giving $10, $50, $100, or more, your support helps us bring this celebration to life.

Sponsors will have opportunities for recognition through event acknowledgments, social media promotion, and promotional materials, depending on their level of support.

Pocket Con is produced by Stomping Grounds Literary Arts Initiative (SGLAI), a nonprofit dedicated to creating meaningful arts and literacy opportunities for young people.

Thank you for investing in 15 years of creativity, representation, and community. Help us make Pocket Con 2026 our biggest celebration yet!

Support the legacy. Celebrate the creators. Keep Pocket Con FREE!
