Riding for Recovery is a journey from Vermont to Panama with a simple but powerful mission: to celebrate recovery, share inspiring stories, raise awareness around addiction, and fund real, local support for people rebuilding their lives.
Along the way, I’ll be meeting and interviewing people in recovery, capturing their stories and experiences on film. These conversations will become part of a documentary about recovery, resilience, and the many different paths people take toward rebuilding their lives.
After years lost to addiction, recovery gave me a second chance. This journey is about giving that hope forward, one mile, one story, and one community at a time.
For every dollar you contribute:
50¢ goes to the Turning Point Center of Chittenden County
Supporting peer recovery programs, community resources, and essential services for individuals and families impacted by addiction.
50¢ supports the ride itself
Covering fuel, lodging, food, gear, maintenance, safety, travel, and documentary production costs that make the journey and its storytelling possible.
Riding for Recovery is about more than completing a motorcycle journey. It’s about creating a platform for people in recovery to tell their stories and showing others what life beyond addiction can look like.
This structure allows the project to create impact in two ways: directly supporting recovery services here in Vermont while carrying stories of recovery across communities and ultimately to a wider audience through the documentary.
By supporting Riding for Recovery, you’re helping make recovery visible, hopeful, and contagious.
