Rose is a Rose Feature Film
About this campaign
Description: Rose is A Rose is filming in 2027 in New York City! After many years of writing and refining, we are ready to bring this feature to life. Be part of our journey!
About this film: Rose is a Rose tells the story of a displaced young artist whose work explores the forms of bodies in motion hustles to survive in New York City until the murder of her closest friend shatters her world and pulls her into a search for truth, identity, and belonging. This Film is a dark comedy turned psychological thriller.
Directors Note: I am drawn to exploring the inner life of a young woman living between identities: the feeling of never fully belonging anywhere, the instability of building a life in a foreign country, and the constant tension between freedom and vulnerability. I know these emotions intimately, and I believe I can portray this psychological and physical state with empathy and precision. It is a story of personal growth that also invites reflection on power, identity, and resilience.
