cariñe, will you put your hands on the broom with us and join us in the limpia of the earth, blessed janitor? each pass of the dry reeds, a kind of laughter? we’re urgently raising resources for the school for inclement weather to close our beautiful year of custodianship with dignity, abundance and care for the co-stewards of this epic work! this month, we’re certifying 60 Wildland Firefighter Type IIs in the deepest and dopest way with the ATTUNE program (@weaving_earth), we’re harvesting the milpa for our tribal food security project in collaboration with the Kashia Cultural Department and processing black diasporic crops (okra, indigo, gourds, sorghum, etc.) for ritual craft, medicine and food grown by ameia smith and flore costumé.
this gorgeous, disaster companionship work has been a labor of love and we will not be able to get through the end of the year without financial support!
we’re calling upon our community to help us finish this season with dignity for our small, devoted team! invest in your apocalypse insurance ;)
