Karov needs your support in investing in siddurim (prayer books) so that we can avoid creating handouts for every gathering. These unique siddurim are transliterated and offer beautiful reflections and meditations. They will enable everyone to fully engage in our services, fostering inclusivity and connection. In addition to using these siddurim at Shabbat services, they will also be used for lifecycle events, like B'nai Mitzvah ceremonies and shiva minyanim.
Our goal is to raise $2500 so that we can have fifty siddurim at the Karov Shabbat event on January 10. Each siddur costs $50 (including shipping).
There is a tradition in Judaism to make donations in memory of a loved one who has died, as a way of allowing that person to continue doing good in the world, even after their lifetime. However, it can also be meaningful to donate in honor of someone still living to show them how much they are appreciated.
You are invited to donate a siddur in honor or in memory of a loved one. Through your donation you will be supporting Karov’s mission to create a meaningful, egalitarian Jewish community in South Denver!
Check the "Dedicate this Gift" button to indicate how you would like the bookplate to describe your donation.
If you are donating multiple siddurim and donating them in honor/memory of different people,
In the "comments" section, please indicate how you would like the bookplate to describe your donation. For example, "This siddur is donated by ____ in memory of ____." Or, "This siddur is donated by ____ in honor of future Karov B'nai Mitzvah students."
