Bad Brown Kids (A Memoir About Indian-Americans Acting Terribly While Their Parents Think They’re Perfect) is a half-hour, dark comedy series that turns the convention of the “model minority” on its head by showcasing the lives of a pair of South Asian siblings – Zara, a successful author with a dark secret, and Rishi, a pianist whose drug addiction threatens to ruin his budding career – who are struggling to maintain the image they have been indoctrinated with by their parents and culture.
