What I did not survive unchanged was the system.
I have lived the delays. The denials. The confusion. I spent hours fighting paperwork and scheduling issues while recovering from surgery. No patient should have to navigate bureaucracy at the worst moment of their life.
That is why I am raising $50,000 for We The Patients.
We are organizing — starting in North Carolina and building nationwide — to secure enforceable patient rights at diagnosis, real navigation support, and protection from denials and delays. Not sympathy. Structure. Not awareness. Accountability.
