Elevating Talent: Supporting Music Careers Through Change

B.A.K Impact is the non-profit arm of Big.Ass.Kids, a career ecosystem serving and connecting the independent music industry. The Sandbox is a 501c3 initiative* dedicated to creating pathways throughout the music industry through education, mentorship, workforce development, and community programming.

Approximately 100,000 music, music/tech, and music adjacent professionals are laid off a year, and that number is not slowing down thanks to AI, mergers and aquisitions, and role eliminations.

We are raising funds to provide professional development resources + opportunities for career sustainability.

Big.Ass.Kids is now, more than ever, dedicated to being the change that we want to see in music.

We operate a free online community called the B.A.K Play.Ground where artists and professionals can connect, collaborate, and find resources. In addition, we have three ongoing programs that the B.A.K founders are self-funding. Your donations will help us expand our reach and impact.

B.A.K Sandbox:
The B.A.K Sandbox is an initiative* led by Big.Ass.Kids to provide resources to music professionals who have been impacted by the recent industry layoffs, helping them re-establish their career.

B.A.K Internships:
This program is designed to give aspiring music professionals the chance to get real, hands-on experience with a music startup and build their work portfolio. B.A.K interns work on assigned projects as a group and individually.

B.A.K Pitch Perfect:
Pitch Perfect is a business community designed to empower women entrepreneurs in music. By giving these founders access to business resources, education, community and the trailblazing women of our industry, we can accelerate the growth of sustainable, women-owned businesses in music
