The Loyola Project is celebrating its 5th anniversary in 2027 with a community-driven initiative from Crossroads Entertainment focused on supporting communities across Chicago and its suburbs in 2027. Through a series of screenings and conversations in colleges, high schools and communities, the film’s story of Loyola’s historic 1963 basketball team will bring people together around themes of race, leadership, belonging, opportunity, and community.
What makes this campaign unique is that everything we offer is completely free for every event. Each screening is designed to be more than a movie showing, pairing the film with opportunities for meaningful conversation and connection among students, educators, families, athletes, alumni, community leaders, and neighbors. By making these experiences accessible to everyone, we can bring people together who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in these important conversations.
