The Weight They Carry - Development Fundraising

The Weight They Carry celebrates the joy, wonder, and unconditional love animals bring into our lives, while also revealing the challenges of caring for them. From the emotional toll on veterinarians to the loss faced by pet parents. Through intimate, observational storytelling filled with laughter and tenderness, the film opens a compassionate dialogue about mental health and what our pets mean to us.

We're currently fundraising for our full development budget of $28,000. This will help us build our team, connect with participants, begin filming, and continue breaking silences around burnout, grief and suicide.
