The Wild Comeback explores the extraordinary journey of California’s tule elk; a species once thought extinct, and the modern efforts to ensure its future. Beginning with the near-eradication of the elk in the 19th century, the film traces their remarkable recovery from a remnant herd of just three animals to a statewide conservation success story.
