OroVista Arts exists to amplify the power of art and creativity as tools for social and cultural transformation. Grounded in place-based connection, we convene artists, cultural leaders, and change makers to build community, share strategies, and drive meaningful change. Through immersive gatherings, collaborative programs, and creative retreats, we support artists in forging powerful relationships, shaping public narratives, and advancing equity across sectors.
We are taking the lead in aligning with California's new Creative Economy Strategic Plan due to roll out in Spring 2026 to bolster the State's economic strenth in the creative sectors. Creative Workforce Development is one of the priority areas OroVista is already doing. Our 2026 programs will create new opportunities for Oakland BiPOC and LGBTQ+ communities to get the deep creative work experience they need to move ahead in their carreer paths in the arts.
