Produced by Sofia Coppola and based on the award winning memoir, FAIRYLAND is a warmly moving coming-of-age story about a young girl's journey through life, love, and untraditional family as she's raised by her single, gay father in the colorful LGBTQ community of 70s and 80s San Francisco.
The film is directed by Andrew Durham and stars Scoot McNairy (Screen Actors Guild® Award Nominee, A Complete Unknown, Speak No Evil), Emilia Jones (BAFTA® Award Nominee, CODA, Locke & Key), Geena Davis (Academy Award® Winner Thelma & Louise), Adam Lambert (Grammy® Nominee, Glee), and Cody Fern (American Horror Story).
Alongside the film’s theatrical release, co-distributor WILLA will activate an impact campaign to engage audiences and catalyze social and legislative change around the issues raised in the film, including LGBTQ+ rights, civil rights, and public health access.
