This summer, 17 Ashkenazi Jews went on a life-changing journey. In the midst of rising facism in the US and a genocide in Gaza, we went in search of deep connection to our ancestors and ancestral lands in service of personal and collective healing and liberation.
We asked many questions:
Can we find joy and beauty – and not only pain – in the 1000 year history of our people in these lands? Will we find lost parts of ourselves and the Jewish people?
And, can we honor the memory of our ancestors in such a way that doesn’t harden us into fear, anger, victimhood and ultimately perpetration – but that instead softens us into deeper compassion and a Judaism rooted in Never Again for Anyone?
Spoiler alert: The answer is a resounding YES. This work holds a paradigm-shifting seed of healing, and we’d love to show you what's possible.
