Women Independent Producers (WIP) is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) membership collective headquartered in New York and Los Angeles, dedicated to supporting, empowering, and amplifying the work of women and non-binary producers across film, television, and digital media around the world.
Founded in 2016 as a collective to foster collaboration, mentorship, and shared resources among women producers, WIP provides a platform for networking, skill-building, self-care and advocacy. Members are primarily independent producers, spanning both emerging and seasoned professionals, and who work on a wide range of media projects, from feature films to documentaries and digital content. WIP’s mission centers on amplifying women’s voices in the industry and creating opportunities for female-led projects to thrive.
