About this campaign
We know many of you care about ethical, fair journalism. We need your support for our training of two young journalists from the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication. Our goal is to raise $8,000 to match the university’s funding for this full-time summer positions for salary, benefits and other costs. Salem Reporter has a robust program in place so Reilly Norgren and Brook Ferris learn about our high standards of professionalism. They will engage in three ethical exercises for the UO while undertaking the kind of fair, accurate news you have come to expect from Salem Reporter.
