THE LIMITS OF TRUTH is a documentary film about H.R.Knickerbocker, a Pulitzer Prize-winning foreign correspondent who reported from Berlin during the rise of Hitler and the lead-up to World War II. He was one of the first journalists to understand the existential threat that HItler posed to democracy and to Jews. Unique access to his private archives, including home movie footage, unpublished memoirs and private diaries, paints a never-before-seen portrait of Germany's chilling descent into dictatorship and antisemitism. Knickerbocker's work is prescient and eerily current.
