The Riverbank is a seven-part documentary audio series built from family recordings, prison calls, interviews, and court records gathered over nearly a decade.
Beginning at the bank, before the full current of violence reveals itself, the series moves through family tape, memory, and public record to trace how violence entered one family’s life, what it took to stay afloat once it did, and what it costs to tell that story without flattening the people inside it or softening the harm.
The series explores what happens when people are reduced into public narratives. Audio allows listeners to remain with contradiction, hesitation, and memory in real time before judgment arrives.
