About this campaign

Help Us Build the MiFILM100 List

In the next 223 days, Minorities in Film is working to support 100 BIPOC and disabled filmmakers through showcases, artist development, workshops, talent discovery, and accessible programming.

MiFILM is a NYC-rooted collective with 250 members worldwide — filmmakers telling the stories we need to see more of. By the end of the year, the filmmakers supported through this campaign will make up the MiFILM100 List: a powerful end-of-year shortlist of artists whose work, visibility, and careers were meaningfully advanced in 2026.

Your donation helps support:

  • Make News — our multi-city short film showcase spotlighting timely, culture-shifting storytelling
  • The Branded Lab — our intensive development program connecting underrepresented directors with brands and agencies
  • Workshops and career development — helping filmmakers strengthen craft, strategy, and readiness
  • Talent discovery and visibility — getting filmmakers and projects in front of collaborators, partners, and industry decision-makers
  • Accessibility support — including closed captions, translation, and accessibility coordination
  • Marketing and promotion — interviews, campaign support, and visibility for films and talent in our network
  • Operations and community care — the team and infrastructure that make year-round support possible

Why give now

Early donations help us fund filmmaker opportunities in real time and make sure access, visibility, and care are not delayed for the artists who need it most.

Donate today and help us reach 100 filmmakers before December 31.
Help us build the MiFILM100 List and invest in the future of BIPOC and disabled storytellers.
